What does econ’s motto stand for?

• “Zero industrial waste” has been econ’s slogan since it was founded almost 20 years ago, and it is even more important today as it was then with rules and regulations strengthening each year.

• Profitability comes through flexibility, not only can econ’s VacuDry® process hundreds of different waste streams in one plant but the systems can also be run on any energy available on site: wind or solar energy, biogas, hydrogen and waste heat.

• Reliability and longevity are extremely important to us. We have always been manufacturing our systems in neighboring workshops with short supply chains. For our customers we are not just a supplier, we are long-term partners who accompany them through the entire life of the plant, which is built to last for more than 15 years.

• In the future, only CO₂-free systems will be able to operate cost-effectively. Not only the cost of fossil fuel but also the threat of CO₂ prices will shape the future of industrial waste management. econ’s systems can be operated with green energy. For a transitional period, however, we also offer hybrid models.
