Our event year 2026 kicks off in January with IFAT Saudi Arabia, followed by a series of conferences focusing on topics such as metal and grinding sludges as well as NORM wastes. The highlight of the first half of the year will be the world’s leading environmental trade fair, IFAT Munich, taking place right on our doorstep in early May.

IFAT Saudi Arabia | Riyadh – January 2026
We will start the year at IFAT Saudi Arabia in Riyadh from 26 to 28 January. The region faces growing challenges in waste management, resource efficiency, and sustainable industrial development, while at the same time offering significant potential for advanced recycling solutions.
We look forward to exchanging ideas with industry experts and partners on innovative approaches to hazardous waste treatment and resource recovery.
Grinding HUB | Stuttgart, Germany Technical Presentation – February 2026
In February, we will participate in the German Grinding Conference in Stuttgart. Join our technical presentation on Wednesday, 4 February at 16:35, entitled:
“Non-oxidative oil removal from grinding sludge using vacuum distillation”
The presentation will demonstrate how metal-containing grinding sludges can be treated efficiently and converted into valuable secondary raw materials, delivering both environmental and economic benefits.
European NORM Association Conference | Seville, Spain – March 2026
NORM waste is an integral part of our daily work at econ industries and is becoming increasingly relevant, particularly in the oil and gas sector. In many countries, the lack of suitable infrastructure has led to NORM-contaminated oil sludges being stored for decades. In addition, deeper drilling activities are resulting in rising quantities of NORM waste worldwide.
In March, we are pleased to contribute to the European NORM Association Conference in Seville with a presentation entitled: “Rethinking NORM Waste Treatment:
Indirect Heated Vacuum Distillation Technology for Oily NORM Sludges”
We will share insights into advanced treatment concepts for oily NORM sludges and discuss how modern thermal technologies enable safe, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant solutions.
KUMAS – Bavarian Waste & Landfill Days | Augsburg, Germany – March 2026
On 25 and 26 March 2026, we are pleased to take part in the Bavarian Waste & Landfill Days in Augsburg, right here in our home region of Bavaria.
