Our VacuDry® units are very versatile and are able to be used across a wide range of applications: VacuDry® is suitable for use in waste treatment, mining wastes and treatment of raw materials or specialised industrial wastes. This technology can be utilized for all drying and separation processes where water or other substances with boiling points of up to 450 °C can be separated from solids. Sulphur waste

Sulphur waste is produced in large quantities during mining, metal ore processing and other industrial processes. Often the high sulphur content of the waste makes disposal or extraction of remaining valuable metals (e.g. silver, lead) impossible. VacuDry® technology allows for the separation of water and sulphur from the waste, allowing metal ores or minerals with drastically reduced sulphur content to be extracted.

Calcium fluoride CaF2

CaF2 is commonly used both in the production of both aluminium and steel, where it is used as a flux to lower the melting point and aid in the removal of impurities. From these processes, CaF2 is recovered as filter cake. Until now this filter cake had to be disposed as waste. The VacuDry® technology is able to remove the chemically-bound water from the filter cake, making it possible to reuse the remaining CaF2 in production.
