On the 6th of May, 2006, Reinhard Schmidt, CEO of econ industries, and a Kuwait oilservice company signed a contract for delivering a system for cleaning oil and mercury contaminated soils and sludge. Both parties also agreed to establish a long-term cooperation in the region.The official signing ceremony took place in presence of Federal Minister of Economics, Mr. Michael Glos, during the German delegation journey to Kuwait and UAE.
