The equipment to recover oil from hydrocarbon contaminated soils has recently been approved for shipment to Kuwait by third party inspector TÜV-Süd. The unit is planned to begin operation before the end of this year.

In early 2008 econ industries will deliver a mobile Thermal Desorption Plant for the remediation of mercury and hydrocarbon contaminated sludge. To suit the special requirements of the client econ industries has designed a small skid-mounted execution with a footprint not exceeding that of a 40" container.

Contract for hospital waste sterilisation plant for Italy signed

In early 2008 econ industries will erect a plant in Italy with the capacity to treat more than 50.000 m³ of hospital waste per year. With the signing of this contract econ industries continues to lead the way as the leading solution provider for the design of sophisticated plants for the treatment of hazardous waste.

econ industries signs LoI for the delivery of a thermal desorption plant

Following an intensive evaluation process by local authorities the econ VacuDry System has been approved as state-of-the-art for the remediation of hazardous substances to be evaporated from contaminated soils and sludge. As a result of this certification econ industries signed an agreement to establish a complete Thermal Desorption Unit for the cleaning of contaminated soils in 2008.
