In mid April 2009 the econ Laboratory will be equipped with a new Thermal Oil Heating Unit. Compared to the old unit, which was limited to 350°C, we will now be able to heat our laboratory dryer up to 400°C. This is especially advantageous when treating oil based sludges containing large quantities of high boiling hydrocarbon fractions. Additionally we are able to achieve better results with vacuum-thermal treatment. If you are interested in carrying out laboratory scale trials do not hesitate to contact us!
econ industries recently delivered a mobile econ VacuDry unit for the treatment of mercury and hydrocarbon contaminated sludge. The unit is equipped with a 350°C thermal oil heating system fired with natural gas.
